How To Set up API Keys: Bitget

To allow your bot to interact with Bitget, you will need to create an API Key. This key acts as a connection between MyITS and the exchange, enabling your bot to perform tasks such as placing automated orders and accessing your balance for its calculations. 

Essentially, the API Key serves as a way for your bot to communicate with the exchange and execute the actions necessary for automated trading.

Step 01

If you haven't already, go to Bitget's website and create an account. Click here: Create Bitget’s Account

Step 02

1. After registering and completing KYC for your Bitget account, go to the homepage and click on the icon in the top left corner.

2. Click on "More Services".

Step 03

1. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "API Key".

2. Click on "Create A New API Key".

Step 04

1. Click on the "Automatically Generated API Keys".

2. You need to fill in a Name, Passphrase, Bind IP address, and set permissions.

Step 05

1. Log on MyITS’s homepage,

2. Click on “API”,

3. Click on “Bitget”.

Step 06

1. Copy the whitelist IP address from MyITS.

2. Go to Bitget and fill in the required information:

   • Name: Can be named as "MyITS"

   • Passphrase: Set your password (8-32 characters with letters and numbers)

   • Bind IP address: Paste the copied IP address here

3. Choose "Spot Trading" in the permission settings.

Warning: Do not authorize withdrawal access. MyITS will not handle any withdrawal-related issues in your exchange.

Step 07

1. Once the keys are successfully created, copy the "API KEY" and "Secret KEY" respectively, then paste them into the API Key and Secret fields on MyITS.

2. Next, enter the API passphrase you set in Bitget into the "passphrase" field on MyITS.

3. After confirming the information is correct, click "Bind Now".

Step 08

1. “Checkmark” I understand all the above mentioned and agree to bear all risks by my own. 

2. Click “Confirm”.

3. The screen will then jump to indicate that the API has been successfully binded.

Step 09

1. Click on the green icon of Bitget, the screen will show “Binded”.

Step 10

1. Click on "Robot".

2. Click on the Exchange you have linked.

Step 11

The screen displays your exchange balance, indicating that your exchange has been successfully linked.
